Main Street Studio is a member-supported collaborative creative center

Our mission is to create opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to discover, learn and practice traditional and contemporary craft techniques, with a special focus on natural materials. We seek to build a community of people who possess the inspiration, knowledge and skills to live well, with mindfulness and the enhanced sense of purpose that comes from working with your hands.

Becoming a Main Street Studio Member is the best way that you can help us continue to build an inclusive community that has a passion of making, learning and inspiring people of all ages and backgrounds.  Annual membership is $360 a year (just $30/month!) and has many benefits in addition to supporting and helping to grow this unique creative community! 

Members Receive:

• Invitation to a monthly members meet-up where the studio community gathers, shares and learns new things together over snacks on the third Thursday of each month. Demonstrations, giveaways and an instant gallery each month.
• Admission to our annual Summer Craft Field Expedition. This year we're digging into the history and geology of clay in our region, building a primitive kiln together, making work for that kiln, and firing it! A host of experts is guiding us on this journey. Several activities over several months.
• 10% discount on all gallery purchases, workshops and private instruction
• Ability to join Open Studio making sessions; utilize the Studio’s facilities, collaborate with other makers and create in the Studio for an additional fee (see Open Studio pricing options)
• One free Open Studio session (must be scheduled in advance). This session will provide an orientation of the studio facilities, and any desired safety certifications we can fit within the session.
• Members-only access to purchase clay, ceramic glazes and kiln firings, project wood and natural dyeing materials 
• Pride that you are helping to support arts and handwork in our community at a space whose mission is to welcome everyone, build creative opportunities, and foster well-being, confidence and skill.
