Main Street Studio welcomes The Bitter Stars for an album release listening party!
Saturday January 25, 6:00pm – 9:00pm
“Red Feelings” 2025
The Bitter Stars recording project was started by Kyle Pemrick and Clarke Hingeford in 2009. While not an actual live band, they have produced four albums to date. They play all instruments except drums and occasional samples and write all of their own material. Their latest album, “Red Feelings”, was recorded and produced in their private studio here in Charlton, NY.
Another musician, Harrison DePew, was a member of the band DoOojj with Pemrick, Hingeford, and guitarist Paul Hubel previously. Harrison is an experienced percussionist and keyboardist who fits in perfectly with the Bitter Stars sound. The Bitter stars have collaborated with other musicians as well such as Frank McLoughlin and Paul Hubel. Red Feelings is an album that explores a lot of sonic territory. Each song is developed spontaneously and evolves further from there.
The project is a product of each member’s influences and ideas all combined.
