Events > Soap Making, the Traditional Way!

Saturday, June 8th, 6PM - 8PM

Register

Spend a relaxing evening learning traditional soap making techniques with Tabatha McFee, small-batch artisan soap maker and owner of the Charlton Artisanal, an all natural skin care company focused on using local and natural ingredients.

In this two-hour class, each participant will weigh out all of their raw ingredients and learn about the saponification process to make cold processed goat milk soaps. Each group will get to create their own unique scented soap bars using essential oils (no fragrance oil) and natural colorants (clay, botanicals, herbs, root powders and spices). At the end of the evening, everyone will get to take home 4 different scented goat milk soaps that the class has made together.

Kind of like a cookie swap, but with soaps!
