About Kelly Klopfer: Kelly discovered Pilates in her early twenties when she experienced chronic sciatica pain from a back injury. Debilitating in moments, her chiropractor suggested she try Pilates to increase core strength and spinal flexibility. After engaging in the method, she quickly recognized how vital this approach of exercise was in helping her to become stronger, and leaner and increase her understanding of body awareness.

A devoted student of the practice, Kelly sought out certification programs and in 2007 began her 600-hour certification through The School of the Moving Body. The program took its cues from the teaching methodology of Kelly Kane who founded The Kane School in NYC. The spirit and rigor of the program focused on hands-on attention and adjustment, advanced observation of body movements and strong knowledge in core muscle anatomy, biomechanics and injuries.

During Kelly’s years of teaching Pilates she has worked with a variety of students of all ages and abilities. Kelly’s approach is compassionate and resourceful. She loves to explore productive and contemporary ways of strengthening and restoring the body while integrating traditional, core principals of Pilates.

About Karen Anthony: Karen Anthony is a local artist here in Glenville. Karen is a retired from Bethlehem Central where she worked with special education students for 22 years. She now has more time to follow her passion of art and loves to hold acrylic painting classes in a paint and sip fashion.

Karen also has been selling her watercolors of architecture houses/ buildings for over 40 years. We love having Karen in the Studio with us!
