Explore and learn the meditative art of latch hooking during this three hour workshop.

Using your hands and a crochet hook you will learn how to create a rug style textile and create a textured piece of art reminiscent of a mossy patch of forest floor you can hang in your home.

These textiles will be carved and sculpted to mimic undulating mounds of moss and will be ready to hang as is, or place within a frame for display by the end of the workshop.

Special for this workshop, many of the fibers used are sourced from our local Charlton sheep farms and hand-dyed by local artisans using locally sourced materials! Browns from black walnuts, pinks from strawberries and deep yellows from onions to name a few.

Cost: $60.00 workshop instruction, $15.00 materials

Skill level: beginner/intermediate.

Ages: 13 and up. 8-12 with parental assistance.
