Events > Kid's Weaving Workshop with Lori Carter-Secreti

Saturday, June 3 & Sunday, June 4

As part of Main Street Studio's "Charlton Makes!" community art and makers exhibit, local weaver, Lori Carter-Secreti, will spend an hour with kids introducing basic weaving techniques using ribbons, papers and other special embellishments. Each participant will get to take home their creation in a small frame.

This activity is most suitable for 1 - 3rd graders, but younger kids can try a simpler project with their parents' assistance.

**Class size is limited to 8 students. Register ahead of time to reserve a spot! **

Register Here for Saturday, June 3 1:00pm - 2:00pm

Register Here for Sunday, June 4 12:30pm - 1:30pm

Note! Sunday's workshop is right before the town parade! Families are welcome to stay and watch the parade go by right in front of the studio at 2pm!

We would like to thank Lori for sharing her passion and inspiring young makers! We would also like to thank the Town of Charlton and Saratoga Arts who made this program possible through the Community Arts Regrant Program, funded by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Governor and the New York State Legislature.
