Learn the art of needle felting during this three-hour workshop with contemporary fiber artist, Mallory Zondag. We will be working with wool, wire and needle felting sculpture techniques to create uniquely felted fungi! You will learn how to create a wire armature, how to cover it in wool, how to sculpt the wool into different forms, and how to mix and blend colors to bring your mushroom to life!
As a special bonus for this workshop, much of the wool will be sourced from local sheep farms and hand-processed and dyed right here at Main Street Studio!
This will be a fun class with lots of room for creativity, experimentation and good conversations! Bring a friend for a Saturday night out!
Cost: $55.00 workshop instruction, $15.00 materials
