2025 will mark the fourth year that Main Street Studio hosts “Charlton Makes!”. A showcase, market and venue for the capital district to celebrate local artists and makers!
For three weeks, Main Street Studio will open its doors to the community to explore a wide variety of art forms and traditional crafts. From bold abstract paintings, to tranquil landscapes. From meticulously crafted high-end furniture, to high school woodworking projects. Visitors will find work from the painters, blacksmiths, woodworkers, ceramic artists, textile artists, writers, and other creative makers that make up our local communities.
In addition to exploring the curated exhibit, community members of all ages will be invited to attend artist talks and demonstrations and sign up for workshops where they can learn a new skill and spend time with others making projects of their own in Main Street Studio’s workshop.
If you are an artist or maker and would like to exhibit your work in this year’s exhibition, click here for submission details. Deadline for submissions is May 3, 2025
Saturday, May 31 5pm – 8pm
We look forward to celebrating with everyone!
We would like to thank the Town of Charlton and Saratoga Arts for helping to make this program possible through the Community Arts Regrant Program, funded by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Governor and the New York State Legislature.
