About Rebecca:
Rebecca Cigal is a self-taught ceramic artist living in Upstate New York. Her wheel-thrown and hand stoneware pieces are designed for everyday use and enjoyment. Surface design, unique textures and shapes are key to the artistic style of her work. Inspiration and unique tools are found in many places- enjoying a walk, opening a kitchen drawer or rummaging through random and cast-off things in a thrift store. You can see more of her work and find her busy market schedule on Facebook & Instagram @cigalstudio
Saratoga Arts helped make this program possible through the Community Arts Regrant program, funded by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature.
