Introduction to Bowl Turning - 2 Half Day Sessions

Learn the basics of using the wood lathe to create bowls with instructor Jason Nemec in this full day (or two half-days) series. To start, we'll cover a broad overview of what it means to turn wood safely and efficiently using a top-of-the-line lathe and tools, and using our native northeastern hardwoods. This class will focus on tools and techniques for bowl turning. Go through all steps with Jason together to see how a bowl can be shaped from a log and then spend the second of half of the session trying it on your own!
