Decorative Gourd Ornaments

Brightly painted spinning gourds, quirky little birds, festive snowmen… there are so many ways to make your own special holiday ornaments from backyard gourds! Join us for a creative making session with Tim Sauter, local gourd sculptor and owner of Big Yellow House Designs in Malta. 

For this family friendly workshop, Tim will share his collection of locally grown gourds, a big box full of paints and stains, marking tools and lots of ideas! Pick out your favorite little gourds and Tim will give tips and tricks for highlighting their whimsical shapes and natural surfaces so you can create your own unique ornaments for your tree or to give as gifts.

Workshop Costs:

  Adults: $45.00 non-members, $40.50 members (use member code at checkout!)

  Kids: Add’l $5.00 each with an adult registration
